We wanted to share the work of Thomas Taylor, a Leeds-based engineer who makes watch escapement models, and who has just introduced a very special escapement design to his repertoire.
The proceeds from each of his sales go towards funding opportunities for watchmaking students, and, towards the creation of his own in-house watch movement.
As we are currently the only watchmakers in the world commercially producing the English lever escapement, when we discovered Tom was planning to create one next it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give back and support him by creating an exclusive co-signed edition for our Project 248 clients.
