Penultimate Valjoux 90 Kingsley

We're pleased to share the latest watch to leave our workshop, and the last but one of our Valjoux 90 Kingsley watches.

For this commission we were asked to create a centre seconds only edition, without the optional extra calendar and moon phase work, and house it in a 38mm 18ct yellow gold case. This important watch marks our first ever model with applied dial markers which have been crafted to our specifications from solid gold by renown dial artisans, Cador, in Germany.

The brief was to make a watch that looked simple and restrained from the front but hides an ornate secret when viewed from the back. The decorative acanthus scroll engraving has been executed by our longstanding collaborator, gun engraver Sam Faraway.
