The first quarter of the year has flown by at the Struthers workshop. While much of our time is spent focused on the minute details of the movements currently on our benches, the last few months have also brought some wonderful opportunities to share our craft with the wider world. From being recognised among the industry’s leading women to discussing the physics of time for the next generation, here is a look at where we’ve been featured recently.

Rebecca Struthers Talks Accessible Watches and Inspirations – Oracle Time

Rebecca recently spoke to Sam Kessler for a wide-ranging interview that moves between the technical and the personal. They discuss the books and art that fuel her creativity, her favorite accessible timepieces, and the ongoing progress of our latest in-house watches. It’s a deep dive into how we balance traditional artisanal watchmaking with a desire to make horology feel relatable to everyone.

In Print: "Quando al tempo serve un dottore" – The Good Life Italia
In a beautiful feature for the Italian magazine The Good Life, Rebecca is described as a "time doctor". The interview explores her accidental path into the craft and how she eventually found the perfect harmony between science and art.

Rebecca also shares the story behind Project 248, a project inspired by the challenge of creating an entire watch using only a traditional 8mm lathe. Finally, she discusses her children’s book, About Time, which uses horology to bring the physics curriculum to life for young readers.
