Each version of the Kingsley is unique, with this light dial edition featuring a blued steel and 24 carat gold inlaid moon phase wheel to accent the blued calendar ring and applied gold pip markers.
For the movement, we worked with the client and our engraver, Sam Faraway, to achieve a simple and refined text-only hand engraved design without additional decoration beyond our frosting, anglage, and hand-grained finishes.
The movement has been modified with refinements to the balance assembly and plates, referencing some of the iconic vintage interpretations of this calibre by Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe.
With only two more editions of The Kingsley left to complete, we’ll be sorry to discontinue a watch we’ve grown so fond of over the years. Equally, we’re excited to be able to focus our full attention on the continuing development and evolution of Project 248. As the pinnacle of our watchmaking journey, we’re looking forward to dedicating ourselves to the creation of our own completely in-house calibres.
